Today we can reveal a nationwide partnership with Apotekets A.M.B.A. on the development and launch of Apotekets Elektrolytbalance. The partnership is built around a shared purpose: to give consumers qualified, expert guidance in a category that is growing fast, but still defined by a lot of noise.

A partnership focused on guidance

Electrolytes are everywhere right now, and everyone has an opinion. That makes it hard to navigate as a consumer. Our ambition has always been to make it simple to make good choices, and with Apotekets as our partner, we ensure the product is used in the right situations and with the right guidance.

We want to take responsibility in a growing category and contribute with expert guidance. Electrolytes can be relevant in specific situations, and at a pharmacy, guidance is a natural part of the product.

Good Habit Co. develops products with a focus on quality and composition, making them an obvious partner for us.

A product developed for its purpose

In a category defined by many different products and messages, there is significant variation in both content and quality. Electrolytes can vary considerably in sodium content, composition and taste, making it hard to know what you are actually getting.

We developed the product with a focus on a balanced amount of salts, a deliberate level of sugar, carefully selected ingredients and a pleasant blood orange flavour that makes it easy to use every day. The foundation is a documented composition of sodium and glucose, with balanced doses and a short, simple ingredient list. Developed and produced in Denmark.

Our ambition is also to make it simple to understand when electrolytes actually make sense. They are not necessary for everyone, but can make a real difference in situations where the body needs to restore its fluid and salt balance. For example after physical activity, with insufficient daily fluid intake, or in life stages such as older adults, where the body's fluid balance is more easily affected.
